For the amplifier section it looks like you need 4 12AX7, 2 6U8, and 4 7491. Out of that list I only have 2 6GH8 I'm using on a real to real player project and a few 12AX7. The power supply according the the site I found is solid state.

With the birth of CD's and MP3's I don't really find myself ever listening to an entire album unless I am doing something else at the same time. I used to just let cassettes ride because it was a bitch trying to find songs.
