My cousin wants 2 15's, he was thinking about getting 2 Flame Q's. I've heard a lot of bad things about the Flame Q though, i was just wondering what all of you out there think about them.

Audiobahn has a huge product line and makes some quality equipment, but they tend to be a little more show then go, if you know what I mean, part of the price is all that **** chrome, instead of stronger internals, I am not putting them down at all, I used to Manage a shop where Audiobahn was one of our main line best sellers easy, they make decent stuff, but I am just very picky, and not worried so much about flashy chrome and flames

My truck is rolling proof that Audiobahn makes awesome subwoofers.

I challenge anyone to show me another sub that will pull a 146 (linear x.....the tough meter!) in a standard cab Ranger for $110 and I'll switch brands.

Not a flame Q....just a plain old high excursion woofer.

Sounds pretty tight in a sealed box, but sloppy in my ported box. Not exactly an SQ sub, but very loud with minimal power.

LinearX is a meter that measures SPL. It's used as a reference point for the MECA tournaments, and is generally considered the toughest meter to get high scores on.

nope lone ranger's mic was on the dash. hey rmn just b/c you couldn't break a 140 doesn't mean he can't. from what i have read lone ranger is talented in his box making along with he has a single cab truck running 1200watts rms to a sub. not that hard to break 140 in that type of situation. hey lone you ever used an audiocontrol mic?? if you have i was wondering how much tougher the linear x was??? i myself am not one that like's audiobahn b/c i want a lil more SQ than that but they are great SPL woofers.
