regardless.. Looks terrible. I had an '89 90 here in the states and an '90 80 at one point in greece. Both looked better without that horrible front end kit... What were you thinking? And yours is probably an automatic transmission making it even more of a rolling nightmare.

that audi looks good as hell..apart from Acuras, audi is my favorite car (A8)..but, people act like racial profiling doesnt exist anymore when it still happens every day. when i had my acura i had all my window tinted 20%..kept getting tickets (only driving through the suburbs areas).. I got tired of it and took all the tints off and just left the rear window (none of the 4 doors had tints, just the rear window did) and the cop that sits his dumb *** in the same spot all the time pulled me over and had the nerve to say that the tint is still illegal.. i laughed at em and he tried so hard to find something else to ticket me on but couldnt find anything else to bother me with!! he seen a hispanic guy (dominican) in a nice car through a nice area, so its impossible that i might be going to work or even possibly live around there...i hate racist ppl!!

Sorry my chicano friend but no sympathy for you here... If you had a front tag and legal tint it probably wouldn't have happned. Just roll with the r's ... I mean punches.

Plus from the stories I hear driving in Mexico is much worse. They can search you for any reason and in many cases expect a bribe to let you go. A friend of mine flew to Panama and tried to drive back to teh US. He got pulled over 7 times for no reason and had to pay all of them to not give him a false ticket.

Same shit happened to me a couple weeks ago, but I was picking up my daugther and got pulled over right in front of my house. Cop tells me to get out of my car and makes me put my hands on his hood and asked me what I was doing and where I was going..................

So I point and tell him see my daughter in the window waving. I am going right there. You could tell he felt like an idiot. He said he pulled me over due to the tint and he couldn't see in it. I have 20% tint, which you can see in just fine.

I am white by the way.

To the op, Its mandatory here in ohio, If your hell bent on not using a front license plate then I'd at least do what hi im justin said and put it by your windshield. I do this n my beater and haven't had any problems, at least yet.

my gf's mom was pulled over the other day.

I looked at the speedometer as soon as I saw the lights, speed limit is 40mph, she was doing 65, but swore to god she couldn't have been over 45 and complained the rest of the day about being pulled over just cause she's black.

I had an S10 with tinted windows, no inspection sticker, ad no front plate. I drove it for about a year pretty frequently with no problems. I let my friend borrow it who is Mexican.......he made it a half a mile down the road.

I have no front license plate on my Audi either. The dealership never drilled the holes to mount the bracket. My front plate sits in my front windshield on the passenger side. I haven't had any problems yet, knock on wood. I've even been pulled over for speeding and the cop never said anything about it. BTW I fought the speeding ticket and won. (The cop profiled me. I wasn't speeding).
