back to the original topic - that really sucks that the stadium is falling apart like that...I actually got to run the bases when I was younger...it was sweet. I was prolly 10. (im 17 now) I had a mohawk, and they put it on the big screen. (everyone had left except the couple hundred kids waiting to run the bases) but it was still sweet to have my head on that big *** screen. Got a lot of memories from that place and im gunna miss it.

there are rumors they slacked on the maintenence in the 80's so they could force the city to fund a new stadium
