well i was driving down 96 and chug chug my car starts to bog down...fuckk i start to pull to the side and then the car just stops and i cant turn or anything i coast to the side, i thought i ran out of gas or something and then i turn the key and it wont start...i had no clue what happend. then sitting there for a couple hours with no phone or help a tow truck came up and gave me a tow to my house for 100...not bad for me being about 30 miles from my house and take it to the house and take everything apart...FUCCKKK my timing went off and the pistons went up and bent the valves...what a GREAT day i had today...just thought i would share that.

that sucks dude. been there before. timing belt in my old bmw broke. cost me a grand in parts for my dad and i to fix it.

**** thats a lot...i can do it for 300 with parts myself but im not the best at cars..i dont want to set the cams off and then have them go off and then that just be a pain.

Well hopefully the pistons did not get damaged. The head is most likely shot as its aluminum and Iam almost

positive the guides are shot now as well.

Look for a reman head minus the cams or at least have the head checked for damage. It dose not take much.

Yeah im hoping so too. im not sure if the head is shot i havent looked at it i just took everything apart to see the timming and i got mad and went and had a smoke haha...but anyways i think i just might sell the car and get something diff. i just had to replace the oil pan because people in my sub dont know how to fill in pot hole and i put a BIG OL HOLE in my pan so what a trip right?
