This is the top sub-woofer on the market and will easily provide enough bass for a large SUV (Tahoe, Escalade, etc.). This sub-woofer IS used and does have a blown voice-coil. Being of the JL W-7 series you can send it into JL Audio in order to have the voice-coil repaired (or through Car Toys or another dealer if you wish). This sub-woofer retails for $1000 new so this is a heck of a deal.
