What’s with critical mass!?

CMASS USED to be a thing. The original company was purchased and is owned by a real estate development or marketing firm,? (Metroholdings Limited) go figure! They have the best snow job in the biz. They list $hiz for their products on eBay (Fixe not auction listings) for 10 times their actual value (but NEVER sell for that price), so when unsuspecting buyers research's it and sees the bidding auctions for the same product at a fraction of the price on winning bids, take the bait and jump in!

The product is very good, at 1/10th of the price they go for. Many, many other options out there that equal or better the product at reasonable prices, relatively speaking.

I noticed that thier bids start out at 100 then get 31 bids and go to like 2k and then stop. Doesn't get sold. They told me someone outbid me after I won a sub for 1k. So yeah they a fraud

I'm 2 days away from winning an 18-in subwoofer for $715. Supposed to be a $6,000 woofer. I'm afraid I'm going to be disappointed and hopefully learn from it . They are a scam. Ebay has tons of complaints against them. They list products that are made for fraction of that cost in electronic sweat shops, then sell them to unfortunate people who believe that they only work with celebs and super rich people.

If you look at their auctions they post ever 3 days a new listing on ebay, and no one ever bids on them, cause their products are poorly made and you can see the craftsmanship in the pictures. If you want one, by all means go bid.

They started a claim against me because I would not pay the $400 winning bid on a 15K, 6.5 inch car speaker set. They must be hard up for clients if they need to use the resolution center to claim $400 unpaid on an item that was supposedly worth 15K. I was the only one stupid enough to bid on it.

ICON is all you need to know about them, they are a con.

Which model is it?

I remember when neodymium magnets were becoming a thing with speakers. Their DB was a lot higher than regular subwoofers. However, they got hot really quick. A lot of that is due to having such a small voice coils and magnets. Another issue is the control on big subs. The coil is small, so the subwoofer would distort, in shape, more often. If you put them in a seal enclosure, the neo magnet would start to lose it's strength after heavy usage, due to heat. In other words, these are great sounding subs, but they can't handle extended abuse.

The only reason for their high price is mostly due to all the free gear and advertisement they threw out. They paid a lot of money out to custom installs to enter in competitions.
