Thank you guys on here that talked me outta type r's, Pure trash(not that bad but not as described) My friend bought 2 in a port box with a hifonics bx2005, They sound horrible they hit so so kinda not to well. I know everyone is gonna say well he need a tcab box, How do ya'll call it the best bang for the buck sub, if u have to spend 300 on a box. Now I am able to call them the Hype R's.

If you don't include more information about your friend's specific install, your statement really isn't useful...maybe a more detailed review of how they sounded, other subs you've heard so we know your listening tastes/past experiences, etc, etc...
