For those of us that see this all the time, it's no big surprise. I live about an hour from their headquarters/church and its crazy. When I graduated college they were at my gradution protesting, since my degree was from K-State's College of Arts and Sciences. My degree is jouranlism, but they claim that the art's breed gays. Interesting huh?

Well, they protest all sorts of crap around here. Anything they can think of really.

The jackass that is the leader got the biggest kick to the nuts of all though. After all his hatred of gays, one of his children has come ot of the closet as a homosexual and he banned them from the compound. Good stuff.

the thing about all this will be gun control. Anyone could of done this hell you cant just buy a gun in IL you gotta wait 48 hours for a hand gun. Shotguns and rifles are 24 hours. Gun control only hinders people who dont break the law. we need ccw because if we had it someone would of shot this kid instead of just runing away. I live in the country like a lot of people the cops don't get here until it's too late. WE are our own defense! WE NEED rifles and pistols to protect our familys! BG's can always get guns! Hell i've made my own from scratch and im sure some of them have too because they have more cash from drugs ect so they can have more tools!

The only sure way to get rid of them is to pretend they don't exist.
All the media coverage, counter protests, and threats against them only further their cause. If everyone pretended that they weren't there and the news stopped covering them, maybe....MAYBE they would stop.

Sure, i'd like them dead just as much as the next guy, but that will only bring more media coverage to their "church"

I agree. I dont know if it was them but maybe another church like them, in Alabama we had a large bus crash and the bus fell off of the overpass and there was a pregnant teen on the bus and they came to there funeral.

There is a motorcycle group there in town, I forgot the name of them but they would go to these funerals and park around them in a circle and all of them would hold large flags so you could not see them and everytime they would yell something they would rev up there harleys and honk there horns. Only reason I knew is because my friends dad did it. I thought it was pretty cool, but these guys are so protected by the authorities when they do these things it is unreal.

There would be no way anyone could do anything to them and get away with it, unless you were some sniper or something.

Those people are going to hell for judging people. They obviously have no idea wtf the Bible really is, they are just invoking God's name so they don't feel guilty about it.

It's quite disheartening that there are groups like this, especially those that call themselves "children of the Most High God." These people are clearly off their rocker and have used the Bible in the wrong context to fuel their agenda. The truth is that God did not send this gunman to rid the world of "a few more gays." Everyone has free will to choose to follow the Lord or to not, end of story. God mourns for the souls of those who lost their lives and for the gunman. When it comes down to it, God loves homosexuals as a person being that he created them, but he dislikes their actions and lusts.
