it was eiter this or the 26'' toshiba but that one looks like its from the 1980's doesnt have that sleek design

Did you check the dead pixel policy? Newegg has something like 8 minimum for a return. With the sucky customer service TD usually offers I would check this as it could be a nightmare.

They are cheap and I use them but the customer service is non-existent and they stock a lot of refubs.

hmm..not sure on that one, i still have time to cancel and spend the extra $20 and get it from circuit city i know they wont be slow or blow me off if i have a problem with the tv..
