Well then he sold it again cheap as hell, and the kid never did anything but throw it in a box and its loud. Hopefully yours does the same. Still wish i could get that sub from you tho! Bitch with one VC hooked up yo shit is moving sidewayz. I had a DD 3518 that blew a coil, and then when I hooked up 1 coil that shit sounded like ***. Probably cuz I had 2000 watts going to it tho. lol.

He just said he also tried it with both coils also.. And im almost positive there is no way in hell it would do that just by using one coil.

from what i've seen/heard if you only have one coil hooked up it sounds like *** or just as yours sounded. i'm with this guy on your problem might have been in your vid you only had one voice coil hooked up. but i guess they said you hooked up both and tried it and it did the same thing so i don't know my guess would have been you only had one voice coil hooked up.

now that i said that let the hatin on me start seems as i know it's coming...

have you ever tried just hooking one coil up and see how it sounds? if not then how could you be almost positive it's not that?

running one coil will not make the sub pull sideways or anything. subs are designed with multiple coils so they can have many different wiring options.
