At least you can walk. I was playing basketball a few weeks ago and landed on the side of my knee. It would get a little swollen from time to time. So today I go out to play football and juke this one guy and **** it made it worse. Now it's really swollen and I can barely walk. Guess I am going to have to see a doc.

Once again, I feel your pain.... Blew my ACL and partially tore my medial meniscus in high schools playing soccer... good luck at the doctors... hope it isnt that serious

yea been there done that , torn my right acl and mcl during football in high school.. the popping sound i will never forget... but the pain was about the same but did'nt last nearly as long or throb as hard as my hand right now

and fyi.. hydrocodone ,, or lortab has to be the bigggest joke for a pain pill.. doc prescribes that and i gotta pay 20 bux for 750 mg lortab(gereric), when i could pop 3-4 extra strength advil or tylenol for 5 bux...Dam doctors, and this is after i already told him not to give me any of that crap because it does not work..

I feel your pain tho man broken legs, arms, concusions. i have a scar 4 inches and an 1ich wide. I could litterally see inside of my arm/wrist for the next week I was so drugged up I couldnt like walk with out falling over.

thnx man, the dizziness is a lil better from yesterday, and i only feel likepuking after i eat or smoke... finally able to put down water

And yes typing with one hand,, not even the hand i write with at that,, really sux.. for some reason i cant move my hand at all , where as a few months ago when i broke my lil finger ( rite hand ) i could move it pretty easily .. even in the splint, with no pain.. U mite b able to see my old break on my pinky finger in those pics as we;ll. its not straight like it should be.. o well, it took me over 5 min. to type this , so i need a rest //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI didn't hear any popping sound. It's just the whole knee is swollen, and behind the knee hurts also, it's fine when it's at a 90 degree angle, but if I straighten my knee out it hurts. Thankfully I just got insured at my job. Hopefully I just sprained something.
How did they take it out? nerve block and plyers?

novacaine and vise grips.. numbed my hand a bit but i still felt alot of pressure when they were pulln it out.. not to mention the morphene and the other pain iv that i had... but those just made my body feel real weird like alot of pressure all over.. i wanna have a few drinks tonite but i dont no if i should with the meds im on

I had something like that once but not nearly as bad. I was framing a porch up with my grandpa and he had a real nice Paslode propane fired nailgun. He was using used lumber and it was floppy as hell at the start, so I was holding the nailgun with my left and the top of the porch frame with my right, and popped a nail in. The board split and the nail went into my index finger and tic'd the bone. Basically, I luifted my hand off, and sprayed blood all over myself, then realized it hurt and grabbed it after blood had covered my arm and my shirt.

Wow that sucks too, the docs said theres quite a few nail>people incidents, the worst was a guy who was nailing trusses and the gun was shot at a sharp angle hit a knot and went in a guy s neck who was on the ground.. ouch:crap: .. i agree with ya tho nails ftl..
