Hail to the King Baby!!!!
So I put my component amp in, and I have alt whine. The amp ground goes straight to the battery, so it can't be that. I have had other amps in before and not had a problem from what I can remember, but that was a while ago. Brand new rca's run.

I tried a different radio, still got it. I have another amp I could try, that will determine if it is an amp problem. I will also try a new radio ground.

And everytime I brake, there is a clicking noise through the speakers as well. There was no whine until I hooked the amp up.

Anyone have any other ideas?

ground the receiver to the battery. It fixed my alt whine a little. (Its still there though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)

Are the RCAs running next to the power cable? Power cables carry DC voltage, so there isn't too much of a chance of picking up current from the magnetic field of the power in the power cable, but they can still pick it up if the voltage changes rapidly. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

What kind of RCAs do you have in?
