I'm fairly sure my electrical system isnt up to that task.

You did say you were going to get a yellow top and do the big 3 upgrade once you did your install. If you do that the Orion 2500d is a badazz amp. And it is'nt going to **** up any more juice than the KX2500.1 would have.Good luck.
