Yall might have seen me talk about the car i was trying to get. 69 nova restored for $2000. My parents tried to get a loan out and they didnt give us 1. The reason was probally because the last loan we got they didnt want us to finish paying off it yet so they could make more money in interest but we did anyway. Go get a secured credit card, pay on it for 5-6 months and you will build up a better score and probably be able to get a loan. I know this does not help you out now but just a little FYI. I was in kind of the same position and ended up getting the secured card paying it for like a year and got a great loan rate that year on a new ride.

LOL..... dad has bad credit so we got it in moms name hers is ok, shes never got a loan or anything like that with it. like i said the only reason i could guess is there pissed cuz we didnt give them time to earn interest extra $$ before we payed up last time.

He isn't talking about his credit score. The people know what happend last time so they don't care to loan him money because they know they won't make their interest on it which pays them the labor and paperwork for the loan.
