Well... I think I am out...

I'm no expert, but I don't see the frame being damaged there. It looks like a pretty straight hit so the rest of the vehicle would have absorbed the impact.

looks to me like just a bad control arm but like others have said if it needs get it to a frame alignement shop and slap a new fender on. Dont sell the equipment if ya dont have to,good luck bro and sorry to hear about the accident.

There we go. No issues then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Everytime someone mentions frame I always think the worst..

Dang that sucks big time. Moron drivers is the main reason i have full cov. ins. and i just braved 8 hours driving to the inlaws and back. talk about stress inducing. One nice thing i saw ALOT driving is new signs that said in big giant letters .. DRIVE ON THE RIGHT PASS ON THE LEFT ! ITS THE LAW! amazing how many drivers do not do this .

on to the problem at hand, i think the thing you need to decide is what means more to you the car or the system .Seeing as your going into the navy how much longer are you actually gonna need the vehicle?if its a option why not part out the jimmy or sell it whole as a fixer upper and buy a beater to get you around for the time bieng? joining the navy and traveling the world doing some growing up your tastes and views on almost everything are going to change .when you come back you might end up going in a different direction anyways.

good luck with what ever way you choose to go

.

Are these truck frames built so freggin cheap now that we consider a little bang-up like this to require major repair?!
