Well, I cheated, here's my second post

I guess I cheated and posted once in the classifieds already, so here's my second post. I'm glad I found this place, I've been out of the game for quite a while and I'm easing back into car audio. I bought my first car stereo in 1987, just after I got my driver's license, first car, and first job my sophomore year in High School (I guess I just dated myself, huh?). I even still have my first Alpine CD deck I bought in 1989, and it still works like a charm, along with some more old-school stuff like my Orion 2150 amp and a slew of first-gen Rockford Fosgate speakers.

I came here first and formost to gather some opinions on the new Alpine 9887 head unit; the Imprint techonology really impresses me. I'm in the initial planning stages of a new (non competition) system and looking around here there's a lot for me to learn, particularly about amps and speakers. There's a lot of new players in the game but I'm getting some general impressions already.

Thanks for the info and I look forward to hanging out for quite a while.
