well I accomplished my Goal

Sunday I Entered a USACi 2X Point competition at a local Car show. Going into the show I had recieved mixed messages on what score I would get. My goal was a 140, I ended up hitting a 141.0 @ 40hz and got 3rd place in my class out of approx 8-9 competitors in my class (Stock 0-300) Both of the guys that beat me Claimed to be using Cadence amps that did 1700+ watts at 1 ohm....but were rated at ~100 watts at 4ohms, and they were using 2 15's in large ported enclosures. Any ways I feel like my Rl-ps in their sealed box with my 1200D did great. I would like to send a thanks out to Matt Sibley of Davids Car audio in Baton Rouge, and the rest of the crew from their that made the long drive up to Shreveport for the show. , they gave me a few pointers...I wish I would of had time to get a re-run and use the pointers they gave me...I might of even improved my score. but we will see my next event is in a few weeks.

You should of seen the guys faces that beat me (first was a 141.7, second was a 141.5) when I told them that I was using 2 sealed 12's. But the worst part about the whole deal was the guy that won first was the last guy to get metered that day, I was either sitting in first or second for the greater part of the day, and the police were kicking us out of the race-way (the comp lasted alot longer than expected because of the numerous SQ entrys) and after he went The judges said that we didnt have time for me to do a re-run...I was pissed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Awesome Man! It sucks when you get beat by ppl using cheater amps.. What was the winning score for your class?

I think it was SB 3...but im not sure....Matt brought his CRX with 1 SX 15 in a box that he built like at 2am the night before and pulled off a 151 or 152 I cant remember. but the guy in SB was running Memphis M3 Mojos.

Yeah he is. Him and the rest of the guys from David's are great. He gave me some tips and I know I could of at least picked up the extra tenths to get second place, but the dammn show got cut short. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif but im going to change a few things around and Matt said I could come do a few tests on his meter at the shop. But in the mean time Im looking for an SX motor that I can get Reconed and a new 12" basket (if needed) and build a ported box @41 hz for my truck. So if any of yall see any 12" SX's that are either cheap, or blown that need a recone, let me know.

Thanks man, I really wanted first And I was sitting in first for the most part of the day. and thats why I was pissed when the last guy that came through the lane beat me by like .5 db, but oh well I am happy with 3rd especially since I didnt even plan on placing.
