Well....bought me a $400 paperweight today!!

**** thats too far to drive for minimum wage. LOL.
$8.50..

Sorry, that sucks. bring him to small claims court and get your cash back, maybe
this.. you need to prove you bought it from him though.. and that it was not working when he sold it. which would be hard.. or slice his tires all 4 and make it somewhat even.. he loses a broken tv and has to get his tires replaced.. you spent 400 for a broken tv that may be fixable

When buying something that expensive without testing it first you need to get some kind of info on who you're buying from. A receipt or look at his liscense and get his address or something. You should see if you can track him through his number. And sue him.

Bought a f'd up LG 42" lcd tv off craigslist!!!F'n guy on craiglist....seemed cool, made a video of it working, got it home,no powercord. Its the same as a pc power supply..plugged it in,lines going thru the middle and the picture jumps..So i text him(wont answer the phone),wheres the power cord?He says, give me the 40 you shorted me and i'll give it to you...told him to count it again...then when i got the tv on,sent him a text, phone call and email about the lines...NOTHING!!

No wonder he didnt include the cord...i should have known better..first major thing that i got ripped off on...

Sucks that was all the money i had!trying to see if i can register it and maybe get it fixed...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Sorry about the rant!!I feal so violated!!

So BEWARE OF Chris" chris3balla@yahoo.com OR 8173075475!

Or you can call or spam the crap outta him!!
Go over there and kick his ***.

just do a reverse look up on his cell number should bring up his home address. And then from there have a policia officer escort you to get you your money back with no hassles at all

I feel no pity for people who don't test shit before buying. I just bought a 52" Sony for $200 (older one but it's for the game room) it was in a storage unit with no power so there was "no way to test it". I took a bunch of extension cords with me, ran about 75ft to a house across the street and gave the guy $5 to let me use his power for a couple minutes. Everything checked out and I bought it, point is NEVER buy something without PROOF that it is in the condition you expect when you get there.

How about just not buying "hand-me-downs" Used shit is used. Buy somthing new. on sales, discount or jack it from the store. Better than getting scammed by some punk *** punk trying to cash in on shit he broke. The motherfucker knew it was fucked up and played you like that bitch that played Mel Gibbsons dumb ***. He looked you in the eyes and Buttfucked you with no vasoline bro. Go the fuck over there and KICK HIS *** and post pics.

Ive bought and sold numerous items on craigslist. ive LUCKELY never been jipped. My bro on the other hand bought a verizon phone to go to the store to have it activated and then jacked b/c it was reported stolen. Ive sold a Wii, 2 xbox 360s and the non of the buyers for those items tested before buying. Of course im not a *** so everything was in perfect working order anyways.

ive had nothing but smooth and great transactions on craigslist, even though one time a baught a halo 3 edition xbox just the console and i was prepared for it to have an issue because he had already told me he had fixed it and it was in great working condition. i paid 80 bucks for it, sure enough it had a freezing problem, so i took the SOB and sold it for 120 bucks.

also when i sold a 32" flat screen i let the lady come into my home and play around with features and whatever, and watch tv for like 10-15 minutes then she bought it for 250$

I sold a Wii no issue. Again, chick didn't test or look at it before leaving, but her problem. I later bought a PS3, and I took a power inverter with me. Unfortunately, my inverter didn't have the power to turn on a PS3. Worked fine, though it was a bit more scratched than expected.

My mom bought an oven for her house. Went and tested it, and got some paperwork in case something happens.

I'd try filing for a claim, but I doubt anyone does much to help you. Just give you the line "should have done XX"

Slash his tires and break his window. Long as you didn't leave threatening messages, I doubt they could ever pin it on you.

You need to track him down and take him to small claims also make sure you. Get a copy of the add before he edits it
THIS.

I won't criticize because this shit has happened to me. Luckily I saved a copy of the ad BEFORE I went to pick it up, got home, and it didn't work right. Tried to contact the guy but of course he was dodging me, checked the ad and waddya know, it had the words "as-is" added to the very end...how very convenient.
