Well....bought me a $400 paperweight today!!

Bought a f'd up LG 42" lcd tv off craigslist!!!

F'n guy on craiglist....seemed cool,made a video of it working,got it home,no powercord.Its the same as a pc power supply..plugged it in,lines going thru the middle and the picture jumps..So i text him(wont answer the phone),wheres the power cord?He says,give me the 40 you shorted me and i'll give it to you...told him to count it again...then when i got the tv on,sent him a text,phone call and email about the lines...NOTHING!!

No wonder he didnt include the cord...i should have known better..first major thing that i got ripped off on...

Yeah, that sucks. Shouldn't have bought it without seeing it working in person. Is there a bill of sale? Does it say "working order" or "as is"?

not trying to salt the wounds but.. really.. you didn't have him turn it on for you assuming you picked it up.. hell I woulda played movies tested all the connections in that I would be using with it etc..

but with what you have call best buy or tv repair place and find cost to repair.. $100 more and you coulda got the same tv brand new 3yr warranty as I did 46"
