Just read around here for a couple weeks and youll come to realize what is good and whats just mehhh...

welcome, read around, learn about the more "underground" audio market.. most people on here dont buy stuff that bestbuy or your local audio shop sell (yes, some shops carry highend).. jbl is a good brand, backed by years in the market (then again sony has been around for eva but ***** in the CA world)... the reason you hear about JL and memphis alpine ect is because they spend a ton on marketing their mass produced products, many times this means the price is shot up but the product isnt as good as a lesser advertised product.. check out sundown audio, ssa (sound solutions audio), DC audio,American Bass, Hertz, Focal... so many awesome brands that you dont see in most stores. oh and another word of advice, dont take the criticism in a negative way. many people on here want to help and have a vast knowledge of car audio so dont get butthurt over the little things..
