way to cover dynamat...

I have a 66 galaxie im restoring... and im putting (4) 12w3v3 powered by (2) jl A1800 mono amps. Im goin to dynamat the trunk but i dont want it to show on the trunk lid. What would be a good idea of somethin to cover it where it looks clean and professional.. any ideas?

Thanks in advance

If you're "restoring" a car, subs and amps don't usually come into the picture :)
Especially 4 12"s and 1kW+.
i know this lol... whats the fun of havin a restored car exactly like everyone else's? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

spray glue on teh dynmat and lay some carpet over it. make a boarder around the edge with some wood. etc.
I basically did this but I unbolted the lid and added some weight on top to get the carpet down into the little recesses that I had. I used the strongest adhesive I could find and heres how it came out:

Ya thats looks pretty nice... i might do it like that but with black carpet... What kind of glue did you use and hows it holdin up?

Another idea, although probably not as "classy" as carpet is to just use some closed cell foam. I tried the carpet thing, but it never would stay on for me. I used some 3M spray adhesive and its stayed up there for 6 months now.
