Way to 'beef up' power cable for a gauge?

So I have a sound system in my car and the LC1 wideband hooked to an Aeroforce scangauge. Anyhow, when I turn the volume up too much it will cut the connection to my LC1 for a split second which causing it to reset and takes another 5-10 to reacquire the correct AF. In any case, is there some way I could put like a mini capacitor or fuse or something, that would help alleviate this issue.

Obviously I could just listen to my music at a lower volume but that isnt the best solution Thanks in advance guys!

Loose connection? If I keep my volume at 50% of less it keeps the AF values 100% of the time. If i go to 75% and then it hits hard, instantly it resets. This makes me believe its related. Im geussing the battery voltage drops just enough for the unit to reset. Id rather not go crazy fixing this, but if theres some easy/cheap way to beef just this one area up that would rock

Again, im pretty newb when it comes to this stuff.
