Why do we (or a select few, if you'd like to seperate yourself from the situation) waste so many hours of our lives on websites such as this?

I look at it this way..message boards are fun because you are discussing things you want to talk about with other people from aroud the world and they share same interest as you..as to talking to like your friend who does not care what so ever about car audio or what ever you know what im saying. I work 3 12 hour night shifts in a row every week. There is no actual work..just staying awake. So i lurk/troll forums for at least 25 or 30 of those 36 hours. THis forum has consumed me- I take a shit, I think about posting about taking a shit.

I eat shitty food for lunch, I think about posting about eating shitthy food for lunch.

I took today off of work to do homework and got maybe 15 minutes of it in edgewise. I need help. Ive had 150 posts in the last couple days.

I won't be on here much longer since I start my new job this Friday(Dec 2nd). This goes along with my fulltime job I already have. Actually, I will be holding 2 full time jobs. But to answer a few questions: its a car audio forum for pete's sake...why else would we be all here?? To share experiences, help those that are just starting out in the car audio world....I mean what other reasons are there?!?!

If that were the case, there wouldn't be a lounge.
