I am ordering a new head unit from onlinecarstereo.com. It is a pioneer DEH-P710BT. I am thinking of getting their 3 year warranty. Has anyone had any experance with onlinecarstereo's warrantys? Good or bad? Thank you....Joe

never really had any problems with headunits...usually the factory warranty would do justice....never had to replace a headunit because it stopped working more likely i needed to get a better one.....but then again its a 300 headunit....but doesnt it come with a 2 year factory warranty anyway???

2-year manufacturer's warranty on that radio, if it's purchased from an authorized retailer. onlinecarstereo.com is not authorized, so if you want any kind of warranty, then you're gonna have to buy their shit.

I was going to buy it from Crutchfield, but it is not in stock, and they do not accept paypal, and that is what I use for purchases on the internet. I would have had the 2 year factory warranty if I bought it from Crutchfield.

Check out Amazon. Although they're not authorized dealers, sometimes authorized dealers use them. I got my 800PRS from 6ave.com (an authorized Pioneer dealer) through Amazon. I paid 344.44 shipped for it brand new. The receipt that came with it is a 6ave receipt and it says nothing about Amazon. 6ave is also a recommended online dealer on Pioneer's website. Try and find a deal like that. You'll get a cheap price and a factory warranty.
