Warped Tour in Dallas 07

So I got back home today from the Van's Warped Tour in Dallas, Texas. Just wondering if anyone else was able to catch the show. If you were there man wasn't it just amazing? The last time I went was in 04 and it was mehhhh but this year was just over the top. I saw so many bands that I've wanted to see and they were all pretty good. Here is who I saw:

Evaline

Chiodos

Circa Survive

Coheed and Cambria

Family Force Five

Killswitch Engage

Meg and Dia

Bayside

New Found Glory

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

Scary Kids Scaring Kids

Now I've seen some of these bands before and it was a much better performance for some of them, like Circa Survive...Anthony did a whole hell of a lot better then when I saw them last year. Surprisingly though, one of the best shows I caught was Killswitch.....they were just amazing. The crowd went NUTS when they were playing. So much crowd surfing, huge pits, just good ol fun if you ask me!!!

Just thought I'd share my experience and hope someone else got to catch this amazing event.

Evaline - seen em, hated them

Chiodos - heard em, hated em

Circa Survive - never heard of them

Coheed and Cambria - heard them, not too bad

Family Force Five - never heard of em

Killswitch Engage -heard them - pretty good

Meg and Dia - never heard of em

Bayside - never heard of em

New Found Glory - heard em, a little too nasally for me...

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - heard em, pretty good

Scary Kids Scaring Kids - never heard of em

I would rather go deaf than sit through another evaline concert. They were quite possibly the worst band I have ever seen live. Either that or strapping young lad...but at least they did some funny shit (lead singer farted on a security guard's head - I'll never forget it...) i used to live in nyack ny where the guys from coheed and cambria grew up. ive seen them in starbucks and on the streets alot. claudios sister(lead singer) used to babysit me

Really? That's pretty cool dude. He sounded great live. That's what I loved about most of these bands.....they all sounded decent live were some of them I thought would ****.

Evaline, I honestly hadn't heard much of there work so I can't really defend them that much. There drummer was very very impressive though and actually I watched him mostly and concentrated on what he was playing so maybe that's why I liked them more. Didn't really care what was going on other then what he was playing.

Chiodos was pretty funny when talking to the crowd. Circa Survive are awesome guys, I talked with the bass player at the merch tent for a while. Told him I saw them in Tulsa and he said, "oh yeah with saves the day? Right on man." Just a real nice guy. Killswitch actually really impressed me, I hadn't heard much of there stuff other than that one song with there old singer and then the song that's played XM a lot. There guitar player was saying some of the funniest shi* omfg. He got up and said, "YOU ARE ALL ABUNCH OF *******" omfg, I was rolling. I'd say some of the other stuff but it was pretty degrading. lololol.
