want to buy new hu

i looking around at hu's at walmart and bestbuy and found some pioneers, kenwood, and alpines that i liked but, if i look on ebay how do i know if certain hu will fit in my car?

forget about walmart. they have models made specifically for them. they're lower quality and have cheaper internal components. as far as best buy or ebay, you can check crutchfield to see if that model will fit in your car and go from that. i've put stuff in my car that crutchfield said wouldn't fit...it does, but sometimes with some modifications. most single din units will fit in almost any car. i'm sure there's some exceptions with some that are extra deep, but most should fit in any car. other than that, which models are you looking at specifically?
