I know. I'm running an SA-15 on a CT Sounds 1400.1 in my wife's van. And if the wrong person gets on it, the coil gets stinky.

Well got the sa-10s running on a saz2500d right now, gain set so there getting about 800rms a piece. They got louder but wasn't what I was expecting, starting to think its the box cause my 15" fi ssd in 4 cubes at 33hz on the memphis mc1000d was louder. Should I consider different subs or a new box? The box is 30x20x18 exterior dimensions with the port being 3"wide, 12.5"tall, and about 30" long. Maybe my box is too big? Some songs sound good but majority seems like the highs are peaky and lows are muddy and thats listening to rap.

since you're slightly overpowering those subs, I'd say shrink the box down to 2cf net.

Jacob has a strong recommendation of putting the 10s in 1cf tuned in the low 30s
