You must not be very tall....So you wouldn't know our pain in shopping for clothes. He doesn't want advice on cool clothes, he wants advice on places that make longer shorts. If your skinny and Tall...you have trouble finding shorts, as they dont come in a length x Waist like jeans do.
Im 6'4, and i have had the best of luck shopping with American Eagle for shorts. I have given up with ordering online. I gotta go and see them in person before I can buy them... Old Navy is good as well, you just gotta watch what you buy.

I dont shop Abercrombie but my buddy works there and thats all he buys, all his shorts are super long...

Also being sort of tall (6'4") and buying shorts sucks. Its either mid-calf gangsta shorts or ones that are too fukkin short.

Is there something wrong with asking a group of thousands of people, what companies make longer shorts. I mean your better of asking a forum with tons of people then asking your friends...more answers...
