Want a new, affordable head unit with aux in...

Hey guys! I'm looking for a new stereo head unit for my car, which is a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally. I currently have the stock unit in the car. The head unit that I purchase needs:

- at least as much power and audio fidelity as the stock stereo in my car

- an aux in jack

Having a USB input so that I could plug a flash drive into it would also be nice, but it's not necessary. Are there better things out there for the price ($80)? I really don't want to spend much more than that.

Hey steelphantom,

Frankly speaking, for that budget, I personally think the JVC is a decent model to get.

It is reliable, branded, *can* play burned CD's, has a front aux-in so you *can* plug it into a portable mp3 player or iPod, the facia is removable so it can prevent theft and lastly, the best part I feel is, it actually comes with a remote control. Normally only the medium to high range HU's come with remotes so I am very surprised at this.
