Wanna get louder than my 13w6

Just looking for suggestions from fellow CA ppl. I have a Dodge Magnum with a Single 13w6v2 in a JL spec ported enclosure running on an Alpine PDX1.1000. Sub sounds great and does get pretty loud but I want a little more now that its summer time and the windows are all down. My old car had 3 Type Rs ported with a Sundown 1500@.5ohm and it was WAYY loud but I dont think I have to get to that extreme again, so I was wondering with the power I have,There are so many options, Add another 13w6, Sell my current sub and go to two 12w6s, Go to Three 12w3s, Id really like to spend as little money as possible which had me thinking about just going back to 2 12 Type Rs, but the JL just seems superior Ive also read that the Type Xs seem to do real well but havent heard those either......what would you guys do for best performance without breaking the bank

I just did a 07 magnum. With 2 15" RE audio SE's, and a alpine pdx1.1000. It was a sealed enclosure(1.75cuft per sub), It beat the sh!t out of that car and sounded great doing it!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

the options are endless. Just get a pair of subs that combine for around 1000RMS and you're golden.

I was also looking into the new IDQ v3 but those are geared more SQ, I want something that sounds decent but Im a little more into the SPL, which is making me lean back on the ol' Type Rs, The w6 does sound pretty good and is pretty darn loud for one sub, but Im just missing when I used to crank it up and really get some heads turning...

I was thinking about that, The only problem is I might have to run them sealed that way to keep my cargo space, but also, dont know if thats enough power for 2 of them...

15" Q in a ported box or 2 12" Q's sealed would do nicely off the SD amp. I've built a few setups like that and been very happy with them. Still have a ported Q in the GF's car...

You should have gone to the CA meet on Sunday as you could have heard plenty of diff subs.

Or a new SI mag.

Supposed to get stupid loud off of 600 watts can take 1k though, and SQ is very good according to the reviews.

Fi Q even a 15" sealed is gonna be stupid loud off 1k

13w7 is viable as well.

an ICON could get loud and sound good doing it as well.

Still on the fence about this, having a hard time trying to find someone to buy the w6,I was thinking debating getting another one but I dont think I have enough power to run 2, I was either thinking about 2 12w6s or wondering how much of an upgrade it would be to a 13W7 since those are more SPL??? Like I said I did have Type Rs before and even when I was running just 2 of them it walked all over my w6 in output but it took up my whole trunk...

try diff boxes, u will only spend like 40 bucks for some mdf and it might get u louder

Well I have it running in a JL Spec ported box, I was gonna go sealed to get more accuracy and make it a lil tigher but Im afraid of losing all of my output which is why I thought about getting another one or selling this and getting 2 12s...I just dont think I have enough power to do 2 13's Sealed....
