hi everyone new to this site.I going to build a wall in my extra cab yota with 2 kicker L7 15's.I have about 12 cubic ft. which is plenty of room.I was looking for the do's and the dont's to building this enclosure?I will be using bbp6 to design the enclosure,I guess my main problem is making sure the port or ports are correct and I dont create a box that is way out of phase and sounds like shit. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the thread. There are a lot of SPL'ers on here so I'm sure you will get some helpful advice!

I would also suggest searching for port calculation stuff and how to build wall stuff. I mean that nicely. But it will be said //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Welcome!! But I have to respectfully ask sir... what exactly were you doing as an "installer forever" if you have no idea about basic port and volume calculations? What exactly were you installing all this time?

he could have been an installer at best buy or circuit city.

How much power are you going to run? If you're going to be running much more than 1000w on each sub, I'd cut down on box volume to about 4.5cf per sub and make a pretty beefy port. I'd recommend about 135 square inches.

Alright.I installed everything electrical stereo's amps all the way to fog lights wiring up anything and everything.I love running wires! To answer your question I do understand and I own bass box pro but I was told by someone else to sign up on this forum and ask questions and ask for any advise on building a ported wall.I just don't want to build a ported enclosure(wall) that has any cancellation.I just don't know where to place the port honestly.I have built many enclosures but never a ported wall. Thanks

No I have done this since I was 15 teen guys and I have worked in a small shop, but the only shop in a 40 mile radius.

I will be running roughly 600 rms to each sub.300 per coil.

I'd say get like 3 L7 15's considering you can fit another easily and give them lots of power.
That would be great but Im still working on getting the second.Hopefully tonight.plus I would have to change amps and thats not going to happen right now. Thanks
