i thought about ripping the back seats out of my car one of my questions is how is the SQ on a wall build? AND about those NIGHTSHADES are they a SQ sub or built for SPL i see that they look a lil like the btl's how do they compare..i searched but i didnt find that much info on them

I've got an 18" nightshade. D1, custom long coil, extra spyder, thicker tensils, newer terminals. Built as an SPL sub for me.

But as far as SQ on it, it is still a very clean sounding subwoofer. Very accurate and will play a wide spectrum of frequencies cleanly.

They are an exceptional driver, and the customer service you get from Jacob is #1 in the game. A++, and you can actually reach him through the main #, every single day Mon-Fri... I like being able to dial one number and having my sponsor right there willing to help me in any way he can, great guy.

I'd say SQ on them is above averaage, but everyones opinion of a SQ subwoofer is different. Most people woould say its an SPL geared driver...which it is...but it still has very clean output.

SQ and wall should not be in the same sentence, really you want insanely loud bass that sounds good, maybe wall some UL12 or Fi Q and see how that sounds.

If the nightshdes sound good getting loud like people say it is definitly built to be a SPL sub it just happens that it sounds good as well.
