waka flocka flame

I think it pretty much all sucks. I've started to just step away completely from any new rap that is out. I don't hardly listen to any of the older stuff anymore either. I realized that when I change sub setups my musical preference for that setup changes. Now that I have a solid daily setup that isn't a gigantic bass machine, I'm reverting back to classic rock and some underground hip-hop stuff that isn't bass heavy. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd satisfy me more now than anything had before.
Looking back, I understand that I only tolerated recent rap because it'd make my damn truck shake apart.
Pink Floyd The Wall has some pretty serious bass in it.

I would have to say out of all the shitty "rappers" out there that are in the garbage category, Waka would have to be better then anyone else at being so trash.

True, but I wouldn't want it to be overpowering as there is more to the music than just the bass...can't say the same for the stuff these ignorant rappers are putting out nowadays.

My single 10 off of 500 watts is enough for me, and I barely even push it.

Well if I want to listen to Zeppelin, Floyd, Eagles, etc., I don't want a ton of bass overpowering everything...so it was kind of a waste and I wanted to play something that'd put my investment to good use.
Now it's nice because I can leave the same CD in my radio for over a month and not get bored of it, because it's the music in it's entirety that's keeping my interested.
My curent setup is geared towards musical. I listen to those bands and many others like them very often. I have several MP3cd with nothing but Pink Floyd. Ear candy to me.

Yes it does.

I think 90% of the rappers out today are producing shit. I thank god that there are still some old school cats out there making hits. This is one reason I love my XMradio. Classic hip hop, Classic Rock, 80's, 90's, ...

Wakkawhatthe****evertheyarecalled. stupidest shit I ever heard.

I think wocka flocka is a very intellectual person... I myself have learned a lot from his songs... now if only I could get accepted by the local community college I can put the knowledge I get to good use!

too much is expected of rappers and the rap industry.

Before i continue i will state that I STOPPED LISTENING TO RAP IN 2008.

Remember the music industry is about money. Its not just the rappers but also the execs that sign these rappers and allow them to release what is coming out lately. I don't know if any of you are aware, but one of the hottest pure hip hop artists, Lupe Fiasco, has his album released blocked by his label because there is no "commercial track to release as a single." He is getting penalized for making Hip hop rooted in the pure form because the record execs don't think it'll sell (even though both of his first 2 albums went Gold). countless other artists have a high level of rhyming but get no chance by record companies for the same reason (the case that pissed me off the most was Little Brother). These artists then go independent and get no radio spins and rare time on bet/mtv.

I cannot excuse the content of many a popular rapper's material of late, but I will say that it does deeper than the artists.

And that Hard in the Paint slams, I have the instrumental for demoing and its quite nice

It's not for you, just like that screaming rock and roll crap is not for me. People have different tastes in music. Most of you guys on here are fake azz racists,so it's expected that you don't like rap. Someone at my job plays that rock crap and it's horrible, but if you guys feel that then more power to ya.
