Dallas is better than my team at this point //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
The Cowboys do have some talent on their roster. Bryant, Austin, Witten and Williams would be a LOT more effective if the Cowboys' offensive line wasn't so shitty. Furthermore, Romo wouldn't **** nearly as bad if he was given some protection (the same can be said for other QBs in the league as well).Steve Smith has played with Rodney Peete, Jake Delhomme, Matt Moore, & Jimmy Clausen. With a good qb he is in the hall of fame 20 years from now.
I don't hate the Cowboys nor do I have a bias opinion. But you, ESPN, & Cowboy fans need to quit living in a fantasy land. Dallas does NOT have talent. The Steelers have an all-star defense, the Cowboys do not. They just gave up 45 points.
If the Cowboys had 1/2 the talent you think they have, would they be 1-7? The answer is no.
Delusional fans like yourself make it all the more enjoyable for fans of other teams. I will enjoy watching your team finish 3-13, at best.
And they're 100% correct. If my Bears had an NFL level offensive line, a single WR worthy of starting for an NFL team and competant offensive coordinator, Jay would set the world on fire. They say Jay Cutler has a lot of potential too........
I like Cutler, but let's be honest......almost any qb in the NFL would put up #'s with a good coaching staff, running game, WR's, & o-line. lolAnd they're 100% correct. I didn't say "good". I said the following;I like Cutler, but let's be honest......almost any qb in the NFL would put up #'s with a good coaching staff, running game, WR's, & o-line. lol

I agree the line is pretty bad but Cutler has not yet shown me anything that makes me think he will be a great or even really good QB. I remember in the game against the Giants earlier this season Cutler got sacked a lot but many of them were because he held onto the ball to long. If you are getting pressure all the time you think you would learn to throw the ball a little earlier, even if you have to throw it away. I do give him some credit because the O-line is bad and also he doesn't have great receivers to throw to. But he did have it much better in Denver and wasn't that great there either.I didn't say "good". I said the following;
- An offensive line that is decent enough to consider NFL level...which means a below average to average offensive line, not the garbage we're using currently.
- A single WR worthy of starting for an NFL team...which means a guy capable of challenging for the ball or running his routes correctly. Our guys are small, inexperienced, poor route runners and all around shitty.
- A average running game...which goes hand in hand with the competant OC comment I made.
Jay Cutler has Mike Martz (who refuses to run the footabll) calling plays, an offensive line that has him running for his life 9 out of 10 plays and a WR corp full of awful/small/stupid WRs.
To expect Jay to put up All Pro numbers with the team he's playing for is just ridiculous. It's amazing the guy is able to finish a game.
Dez Bryant is pretty good and I think he will be a very good player. I agree though that Roy Williams is an under-archiver and he also has a big mouth and is really cocky for a guy that hasn't done a lot.The Cowboys believed there OWN pre-season HYPE..
Frankly, Romo is a average qb and in the NFL thats where it ALL starts! Hes not the go win the game type, Romos a manage the game type, a poor mans Favre! But at the same time theres NO excuse for that defence to be playing that poorly!!
Roy Willaims is decent #2 at best but a classic underachiever, how is it a dude that big can not dominate smaller cb's, esp in the red zone!
Jerry Jones is taking a page from Al Davis! Dude go hire a real GM and sit back and cut the checks you fool. Miles Austin had ONE decent season and you pay him the FARM, what a jackazz! And how long you gonna try to ride the Barber/Jones backfield? Then you draft Dez Bryant with your #1 pick (nothing against him) but dayum, WHY? Did he forget what he just paid Austin and gave up for Wiliams, you cant trade or cut either one so how does Bryant GROW? What about drafting a LB, DL, OL guy.
Jones BIGAZZ ego made him fire Jimmy Johnson, Jimmy knew talent, Jerry DOESNT! Thats the difference between owner and GM..
Lets see what Jerry pulls outta his azz with the 3rd pick in the 2011 draft.. Cowboys about to turn into the Raiders!
Steve Smith can hardly ever stay healthy enough anymore, no matter who the QB is....yes, he is a great receiver, one of the top 5? Sorry, dont think so...even when he puts up good numbers.....but will say, if he had a better QB, yep could have been one of the best, but he never stays healthy....His QB's are Matt Moore & Jimmy Clausen. He plays in an offensive that is 90% rushing. He put up huge #'s in his prime with Jake Delhomme, who in 7 yrs I never saw throw him a pass on target, & an incompenent offensive coordinator. He has been a top 5 receiver in the league for years, & he has never complained or publicly said anything about the problems in Carolina. Any other top receiver would have went off & showed their ***, Smith is a great teammate & a real pro.
What makes Williams a great receiver? He hasnt done ish in Dallas and faltered later in his Lions days.....hence them wanting to get rid of him....and how is Miles Austin just okay? He leads his team once again in just about every stat and had an incredible year last year....out of nowhere...No body is saying Steve smith is a bad receiver, you're just trying to bring up something that has no bearing on this conversation what so ever because Steve Smith is the only good thing about Carolina right now.
Dez Bryant will be one of the top WR's shorty. Miles Austin is ok. Roy Williams is a great WR IMO. Tony Romo is a horrible QB IMO.
I wouldve shot my self if that was the case. My team is AFC west. And the 49ers and Raiders both beat us this year //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif49ers fan?
He broke his arm last year, that's the first injury of his career. And he broke it again this summer, but that's it as far as injuries.Steve Smith can hardly ever stay healthy enough anymore, no matter who the QB is....yes, he is a great receiver, one of the top 5? Sorry, dont think so...even when he puts up good numbers.....but will say, if he had a better QB, yep could have been one of the best, but he never stays healthy....

He and Bryant are the future....just need a RB, OL and Defense now, lol!
lol my dad is a 49er fan, he was in the Navy & lived in the Bay during the Montana era.I wouldve shot my self if that was the case. My team is AFC west. And the 49ers and Raiders both beat us this year //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
