Why are you guys even talking about Roy Williams and Steve Smith?

Neither of them have done ish this year and Williams hasnt done anything in years since his early days with the Lions....

Real talent in Dallas is Miles Austin and eventually Dez Bryant with Tony **** at the helm....I hate ****, but he is decent enough.

Their D was good last year and do have some talent, just cant put it on the field this year. Just how it goes some years. I didnt think they would fall apart like this though.

Not mad though, I loathe the Cowgirls....

I don't know what the Cowboys need. They did good last year but this year has been a total flop. I grew up a little bit north of dallas and have been a fan for 15+ years. Let's see if Garrett can pull this team out of the gutter, I don't have any hopes for this season though.

His QB's are Matt Moore & Jimmy Clausen. He plays in an offensive that is 90% rushing. He put up huge #'s in his prime with Jake Delhomme, who in 7 yrs I never saw throw him a pass on target, & an incompenent offensive coordinator. He has been a top 5 receiver in the league for years, & he has never complained or publicly said anything about the problems in Carolina. Any other top receiver would have went off & showed their ***, Smith is a great teammate & a real pro.

No body is saying Steve smith is a bad receiver, you're just trying to bring up something that has no bearing on this conversation what so ever because Steve Smith is the only good thing about Carolina right now.

Dez Bryant will be one of the top WR's shorty. Miles Austin is ok. Roy Williams is a great WR IMO. Tony Romo is a horrible QB IMO.

This is basically the same team that went 11-5 least year, they have good players. The only difference at the skill positions it Dez at WR IIRC. It's just not coming together 100% and anything bad that can happen, does happen. Dallas dominated the first few games of the season...total yards, first downs, time of possession...yet still would lose the game because of little things that they didn't take care of.

Steve Smith has become an after thought here, & it's very unfortunate. He has several great years left.

James Anderson is Carolina's one bright spot, he got a chance to start when Thomas Davis got hurt. He is absolutely tearing it up & is at putting up crazy numbers at linebacker.

I think Dallas will have the NFL's #1 WR in 3-4 yrs in Dez Bryant. I've never really seen Miles Austin, so not sure there. imo Roy Williams is about as overrated as it gets. He's great at times & other times he looks lost or like he doesn't even care.

Tony Romo sucks. Any QB can put up big #'s in the regular season when you pass 50 times a game.

How is Roy Williams over rated when no one even says his name ? Thats like saying Andre Johnson or something is over rated. No one talks about Roy Williams. If Romo was any good of a QB then all the the cowboys receivers would be sick.

Andre Johnson gets plenty of attention, & he deserves it. Roy Williams is overrated because he was a high pick, then traded to Dallas for another high pick & given a huge contract. In return Dallas has gotten an average at best WR.

Tony Romo is a legit QB. Top 10-15 in the NFL, so that's no excuse. But there is an excuse for everything wrong in Dallas.

Romo averages 35 passes a game, and completes nearly 70% of them(this season)...he also has a career QB rating of ~95, and has twice as many TD's as INT's(career). Can't say he sucks, sorry broski. No one will say he's a top 5 QB, but he's not shitty either.

I just said he sucks because I don't care for him or his playoff choking. You can see above where I said he is a legit top 10-15 QB. Making an excuse that Roy Williams isn't overrated because he doesn't have a good QB is ridiculous.

Last year he had 600 yds & 7 TD. His one grear year was 1300 yds & 7 TD. He is an average WR, nothing more, nothing less.

Im not a Dallas fan by any means so what does that matter. Your putting Roy williams in at least the top 1/3rd of the league and romo around the top 1/2 of the league. Not good for either of them going by that.
