W7 vs Idmax vs Fi Q

let me help this guy out here, i know him personally and he is quite the noobx

hes got the newer G35 sedan and has a PDX1000.1 already installed.

He bought a 10w7 and picked up a box from andrew. IIRC 1.6cuft @ 33hz?

He is deciding on picking up my 15" Q with BP and a 2.2cuft sealed box from andrew

Honestly this guys trunk rattles like **** and his OEM subwoofer cover thing that is located right in the middle of the rear deck rattles like **** too.

IMO nothing is going sound close to decent until you deaden your car and eliminate the rattles so..

STOP LOOKING FOR SUBS AND FIX YOUR RATTLING BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING DAMMIT. honestly it is a horrible rattle that you can hear CLEARLY from any seat in the car and the sub isnt even putting out alot of output.

1) that post sure doesnt look like you've used more drivers than me
2) i wasnt even talking to you, you mindless mouth breather

3) kill yourself, your parents, and your kids. you and your bloodline are useless to society
your a ****en retard eat my ****! I wasn't talking to you also lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i went with the 10w7. i have used the other drivers and still own a 10"idmax. i was powering the w7 with an 8100d and hit just over 138db with a box designed for sq. i have 5 trophies with this set up but the 8100d was not enough power.(about 750 rms at 3 ohms) yesterday i installed on old school fosgate power 1100a2 and it pushes the sub much louder. i will take it up to the local audio shop and have it metered. i will admit that the w7's are not for spl but they do give good results for both worlds.

what kind of proof would you like?

i forgot to mention that i got this w7 really cheap. i would never pay full price for one. for what they cost new there are much better subs out there.

i have pics of the set up in the gallery.

you've used each of these drivers?
