w6v2 vs ek

Well I have 15's and comparing them to 12" w6v2s is a little off..But here goes...The 15" ed ks have more SPL than the 12" w6v2s..Due to cone area..I highly doubt that the 12" ed k would be louder than the 12" w6v2..But it would be close! The SQ of the 15's isnt as good as the 12" w6v2s....They will drop A LOT harder than the w6's will mainly due to 15's being more of a low-hz driver to begin with... They both are GREAT SQL subs..If u want a little more spl go with the 15" ed ks over the 12" w6v2s...They dont look as pretty but who gives a ****..LOL...The sq even on the 15's is AWESOME I was really surprised how good the SQ is on them..actually it is almost matched on some songs..But thats due to how I have my subsonic and port tuning on the box...But in my personal opion I would rather have 15" ed ks over the w6v2s...I would rather have the 12" w6v2 over the 12" ed k....The ED k 15's are a great sub...The SPL of them is really amazing, I was really pleased with how the perform..and hell I dont even have 500 watts to them! Just wait until they see 900 watts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif!!

I really love the W6V2's......but they're too expensive for my liking. I had two of the 2002 model K's....SQ was very nice, but W6V2 has the edge IMO......SPL is a toss-up on the two. If $$ was no object, i'd take the W6V2, but as we all know, it unfortunately is....
