W6 Vs G5

Well the title pretty much says it all, im looking for your oppinions on the JL W6 and the Boston G5. Im looking to get one 10" of either one. I just heard the W6 today and was very pleased, i want to hear the G5 , but no one around here has their boston subs hooked up, so that sucks. So give me your pros and cons for both. I listen to all music. It will be in a sealed enclosure, and im aiming more towards SQ but i want it to bump a little too. ALL oppinions and comments are greatly appreciated.

haven't heard much of jl.. but i did hear a g5 in a g tuned box with a boston passive on it and it sounded better than my focal 10's.. i'm a die hard focal fan but i was impressed with boston to the point i'm possibly gonna pick up an spg555 and a g5 10 nothing against jl as i said haven't dealt much with em.. i guess it really depends on how much air you wanna push.. space you have .. and money you wanna spend.. but most of all what sounds best for you.. good luck!!

I've heard the Boston G5's and liked them very much. For the price difference I would go with them. The G5 is on ebay for about 175 and the w6 is about 250.

One of the things I like about the G5 is you can push them hard and if you damage them it's like four screws and you replace the soft parts.

Nice to see another Saskatchewan person on here
