For those saying it isn't enough volume. RE's SR line of subwoofers are designed specifically for small sealed and ported enclosures. And for the wattage... who cares. I'd rather had more amp than I need and have some overhead for a pure clean signal than be driving an amp that just doesn't have enough in it. Better to have more than not enough in this case.

It has side panels that are sealed off from the rear of the car and goes all the way to the roof... I'd say it is.

Id say anything that eliminates the purpose of your rear view is a wall. Also..ive never seen a wall thats shaped like a square, triangle or has a buncha little angles they all look like big tall boxes lol.

FWIW, I had a '91 GTI. Owned the car for 17 years. As if it weren't slow enough, a gargantuan sub in the back is sure to make it (err...) better. The car's handling was its sole saving grace, and that's a gone with that much weight sitting on its ***. Lowering it to the point previously displayed drastically changes the suspension geometry for the worse, allowing its roll center to sit below ground. Essentially, the car turns into a rolling POS in terms of its dynamics.
