You cannot lock down the school for a murder. I go to a school of similar size to VT (LSU ~30,000 Students) Our universities are like small towns. You cannot lock them down at the drop of a hat.

my older sister goes to VCU in richmond... she said most people from VT are uppity and stuck up being a privet school and all... although its still very sad what happend and shes still going to attend the thingy

Tech is not a private school...UVA is a private school. You probably got your schools mixed up. UVA is the uppity school, Tech is the school full of farmers.

Additionally...we and VCU are not rivals...at least not in Tech's mind. We definately like VCU. Again...you probably got your VA schools wrong.

Tech is not a private school...UVA is a private school. You probably got your schools mixed up. UVA is the uppity school, Tech is the school full of farmers.

Erin Peterson, age unknown, graduated in 2006 from Westfield High School in Chantilly, Va., along with a second victim, Reema Samatha. That is the same high school that the alleged gunman, Cho Seung-Hui, graduated from three years earlier. It was not known if Cho knew the victims.

That how one of my high school friends got killed. trying to stop a guy from beating up his girl before/during the arguement. That seems to happen a lot.
