ok well im going to go ahead and sell my 15" Alpha and go a different route after all these years with a single 15" setup. The Alpha is monster btw...but uh I want to go 2 15"s but the 15"s i want are starting to become hard to find. SO im going to go with 3 afforable D2 12"s so i can still get the 1ohm load from my amp. Anyways im looking at 3 12" Type Rs or 3 12" PG RsdC's? Im thinkin the PGs are more sq oriented and the Rs are more spl...im looking for SPL. Which do yall think has the potential to get louder off my bxi2006d@1ohm? Im going to either seal both setups with 1.5-2.0cf each or port them with 2cf each...lmk

i agree...my Alpha wanted more too but 1600w was all i had...ha

yea i was thinking two SX 12" ported but everybody has " 2 12s"....I really wanted two 15" SXs but i was a day late for the one i wanted on here.

Anyway....i have a question? Am i sleeping on the Kicker CVRs??? I understand cone area would prolly answer my question but would 4 12" CVRs get louder than 3 12" Type Rs if i had both of them sealed? I can get 4 new 12" CVRs cheaper than 3 new 12" type Rs...

I've never used them personally but I don't think the R's will do to well sealed

Honestly my 15" single alpha was plenty loud for a DD. I just want to know i can get louder than the single 15" really....just for the stunters and fronters...

i had three 12 inch type r s in a 6 foot box tuned to 38 hz off a aq 2200d and a saz 3000d ran to 1.33 ohms both times got loud sounded good i just got my 2 15 dc level 4 with the 5 coils and ran off the 3000d at 1 ohm in a 7 cube box tuned to 36 hz and thay r way louder

so the 15s got louder...
