voting trends

Im doing a project for school and need some voting trends for the republican and democratic parties.

So far I have the Southeast and central US tend to vote republican because republicans support tax cuts for all income levels and those areas have a lower mean income.

I also have religious people tend to vote republican because they are against abortion.

and i have stuff about how the south used to vote democrat and north used to vote republican

any other ideas?

yeah that's cause the Republicans Freed the slaves. Also people in the south used to be poorer then those in the north!!

To be honest IMO i think its all a bunch a bull $h*t people vote for who they think might win, who's more popular, also who is the most incompetent I.E. G.W. "DUMB A$$" BUSH times 2. I just don't get how people wont vote cause they think their candidate will lose. What are you talking about? There are so many trends in voting. Younger go democrat, states always tend to lean to demo/repub, etc. Then you count in Unions and groups and what not that send all their members a list of all candidates to vote for. For example, Harness Racing sends all employees a list of candidates to vote for, from president all the way down to town treasurers. Whichever candidate will benefit their cause more will get the vote.
