Volume tops out at 3/4

The ddx9903s after running my system for awhile will top off at 3/4. Meaning i increase the volume but gain is minimal if at all. No audible distortion either. Speaking of gain when i set it, i set it at 3/4 volume but normally if i really need to i can turn it up close to max. It seems as though there my stock electrical system is restricted but i cant confirm yet as i have done any tests, any ideas guys? If you need more details let me know

what is gain on amp set at? u probably have it to high, make sure it's below 1/2..
