Volume fades out...Hyundai Santa Fe 2008

Hi All,

Been having this problem for awhile now, but recently it just went kaput!

The audio from my factory stereo fades out to nothing. Radio, CD...anyof it. It started about a year ago...did it a little bit then it has been fine up till recently. Now I get nothing, unless I switch from CD to radio...it briefly works then fades out. It's frustrating!

I will say this. When OI bought this car, used of course, there was a speaker issue. SO I brought it to the dealer and they said they fixed it but never did. This is when the problem started. It's no longer under warranty so I can't bring it back.

Any ideas?

depending on what system is in there it sounds like a bad deck or a bad amp. Bad speakers dont typically cause the sound to fade out it just cuts out.
