One of my friends actually picked up 2 of the high performance 12s from a pawn shop brand new, and I was suprised at how they sounded. Obviously they arent going to beat your alpines, but they didnt sound as bad as I thought they would. I sure wouldnt be bragging about them if I had them though:veryhapp:

Ok dude his speakers **** man. i had 4 of those things in my trunk except they were 10's, and i was running them on a 500/1 jl and 2 blew before the cd was over, the other two stank like they were about to blow. and my buddy with ONE mtx 7500 blew those things out of the water. In other words those german volfenhags ****.

I heard a setup with two of their high performance 12s, the old ones mind you, in a 40hz ported enclosure. It peaked higher than a stuck soprano, but it was hellishly loud. He was clipping them pretty badly and playing under tuning. I was surprised how well they took it. For the $125 / sub the dealer was asking, they were worth it for an all out SPL setup.

well i had a pair of 100 dollar a piesce aw1251t audiobahns that were pretty **** loud... but that doesnt mean that they are a good sub for anything... from what i hear from this thread... im still gonna put them in the "dont buy unless ure an idiot" category just like pyle, pyramid audiobahn... sure they may be decent, but for the horrendous price for the quality they are... nah
