Fat guy on the GROUND.
I'm going to soon be building the audio portion of my minitruck. It's an RX-7 (13b) rotary powered single cab B2200. Im going with a classic muscle/chopper theme to the build. Anyways....I am putting a blow-thru in the bed with 4-CVX 12 firing into the cab.

You wont see much of the CVXs in the dark. So, here's what I want to do:

Cover the face of the box in velvet, or something that doesnt reflect light.

Put nice grilles on the subs.

Illuminate the inside the box. (hidden lights).

Already bought the grilles for teh cheap today. Here's a couple pics. First pic was with the flash on, second was without. Opinions?

your camera ***** without the flash... lol
j/k

I dont see any holes to mount that grill how does it mount

Havent set the colors and crap for indoors. LOL. If you look at the point of the V under kicker, theres a single screw hole. You can see it on the lower right side.

i think some raw aluminum bars across the front of the box would look nicer, i'd ahve to see that done to appreciate it. less is more to me.
x2. 3 aluminum bars would look nice. those look ok, at least until they get scratched, which will happen quickly.

I dont think so. The cone of the subs will be almost a foot behind the seat, PLUS the opening will be roughly a 12" to 14" by 49" oval opening to the bed. So it will be a real pain to get down there and even look at em. But, I figured, when i DO get back into the car shows, I can have this, with a lil fire to make em noticable. The design of the grille will fit the build of the truck VERY nicely.

just noticed the truck has a 13b, nice find, should be a zippy little truck.

I sure hope so. My big problem, at the moment...is the estimation of where my shifter will lay. LMAO. The engine is at an angle, this is deliberate. But, where the shifter pivot ball sits, is 4" further back, and about 3" lower than stock. Now...this isnt a problem if I were to use the stock B2200 shift lever. BUT....I'm not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I am using an adjustable short throw. Its got 3" of adjustability, but even then, its still shorter than stock. So, i may just get carpet burn on my knuckles between 1 and 2, and 3 and 4. LOL. Here's a few build pics.

hey I am also looking to put a motor in my 92 b2200, was it difficult to get that motor in there / do you know of any other motors that would be compatable?
