my buddy just got a new gateway and he was bragging about it... i just laughed because he cant really do much of anything on it right now, seeing as it still lacks a ton of support for a lot of programs.

looks sweet though cant wait for 1-2 years down the road when it mainstreams

I went to the Vista launch party.. nothing too impressing, just a GUI. However, I have seen some of the new technology that is being developed for vista. You will be able to use thumb drives as ram, so, you could go pick up a 4gb thumb drive and just leave it plugged in back or something. Along with that, Sideshow. Sideshow is a little screen that will sit on the top of a laptop that will allow you to do small tasks like checking your email without actually having to turn on your laptop.
