Class 2 = 2 woofers 501 watts & up

Class 3 = 2 woofers 0-500 watts

Class 4 = 2 woofers 501 watts & up

Class 5 = 3 or 4 woofers any power

Class 6 = more than 4 woofers any power

Truck Classes

Class 1 = 1 woofer 0-500 watts

The ac meter is on the seat, car sealed and you have around 20-30 seconds. Also they have two classes for 1 sub 0-500 and 501-and up. They let us put the windows down on the second run.

Whats up with the MECA shows?

Ok this is about 10minutes from my house but what class would I be in 2 or 4 they read the same? and does anyone think two 12"s on 1000-1200rms would even be worth trying?

Oh, you're close. Thought you lived in northern VA.

I think they go by what your amp does @4-ohms.

Two T1 12"s older silver ones and a memphis 16-MC2000D running at 4ohms and a RF T600.2 running mb quarts Q series comps at 4ohms per channel as well.
