A month ago, I was using my truck as a radio. Well, the battery died after about an hour (forgot to turn it on) and then the truck tried to turn over. It eventually stopped. After I jumped my truck and got it started, the remote lost signal to the brain. I am not sure exactly how to program the brain to see the remote but I have tried a few things. Does anyone know the exact steps to program the remote to the brain or should it never lose signal? Could I have a fuse blown on the brain or something? My installer is not around and so I gotta figure this out on my own.

prolly shorted something, you better have fused any wire getting power, switched or constant

should just be able to get within range of the vehicle with the remote, repeatedly press the lock button every second or so, and it will sync back up and work as normal

It sounds like the transmitter may need to be reprogrmed.

Open door

turn ignition on

press overide once

press again and hold

larm will chirp once

press lock on remote

alarm will chirp again

relese switch and turn car off

Try that and let me know.

I did it exactly the way you said. I tried it with the valet switch on and off. Neither worked.

When I held the button in and it chirped, I saw the LED light flash. While holding it in and pushing the lock button, the remote just beeped like it was out of range. I tried this several times and also the other buttons.

when you push it and after you hear the chirp let go of it and then press on the pager the lock button and if it doesnt work then its probably something else

everyone gets one, i have one but its not hooked up lol
